Overview
SOVA is a plant-based CBD wellness brand built around a calm, editorial aesthetic that feels more apothecary than pharmacy. The identity centers on a custom serif wordmark and companion SV monogram, paired with a botanical damask motif adapted from a eight-color palette spanning warm terracottas and golds to sage and slate. That system was applied across a full product line: balms, gels, and creams, translating a single flexible mark into jars, tubes, and bottles without losing cohesion.
Challenge
CBD packaging usually reads as one of two things: clinical or crunchy. SOVA needed to feel premium and trustworthy while staying plain-spoken about being plant-based and made for everyday use, across a growing range of formulas, strengths and container types.
Solution
One flower does the work. A custom high-contrast serif wordmark and an SV monogram sit on a botanical damask built from a single repeating floral motif, shifted into new colorways from warm terracotta and gold to sage and slate. Supporting copy stays in a clean grotesque. The same system covers the Ground, Cool and Everyday formulas, every CBD strength and every jar, tube and bottle, and each product keeps its own identity through color alone.
